Janelle Hamann, LMHC
I received my Bachelors of Science from Washington State University and my Masters degree in counseling from New York University. I have been trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is an amazing form of therapy that can help decrease symptoms related to trauma. I utilize evidence-based theories, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, to create a unique and integrative approach for each client. Additionally, as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am honored to provide services to those in the community and aid LGBTQIA+ couples in strengthening their relationship. I love to aid individuals, couples, and families with achieving the change they desire through a tailored and integrative approach. It is a privilege to see my clients flourish through treatment and to provide a safe, nonjudgemental space where self-discovery and personal growth can be achieved through a strong therapeutic relationship.
