How do I access the client portal?

What if I need to reschedule or cancel a session?

At New Page Counseling, LLC, there is a strict no-show/cancellation policy and any changes to a session need to be made forty-eight hours ahead of time. If you cancel less than forty-eight hours and more than twenty-four hours prior to your scheduled session, there will be a $90 fee that will be charged to your account. If you cancel less than twenty-four hours prior to your scheduled session or are unable to attend a session, the full session fee of $180 will be charged to your account.

What if I am running late to a session?

You have ten minutes following the scheduled start time of your session to join the session. If you arrive after the initial ten minutes, then the session will be marked as a “No-Show” and the full session fee of $180 will be charged to your account.

What can I expect from my therapy sessions?

Therapy sessions are individually tailored to each client; however, there are similarities in the start and finish of therapy that go across the board.

During your first session, the focus is on getting to know each other and learn your background history, as well as identify your goals for future therapy sessions.

Future therapy sessions will focus on addressing your goals for therapy and can be an ever-changing process as new stressors or concerns come up. It is essential for you to be open with me about your goals and any changes your desire for your sessions.

What if I need to pause sessions?

If you need to pause sessions due to a family crisis, changes in your life or work, or health concerns, please inform me as soon as possible. Each session is specifically reserved for you and it is important for me to know if your recurring schedule needs to change or be adjusted. If sessions need to be paused beyond reasonable accommodation, then you and I will have a conversation regarding if your recurring session time and date spots can be reserved for your future return.

What if I need paperwork completed by my therapist or I would like additional help from my therapist outside of our sessions?

I can definitely help with paperwork you may need completed by a therapist and am here to assist with your concerns between sessions. There will be a $50 charge for every thirty minute increment needed to complete the requested paperwork or to address your additional concerns between sessions.
